Taking a Proctored Exam

Basic Requirements

All fifteen community colleges in the Mississippi Virtual Community College require, at minimum, one proctored exam. Many require two. This means that you will need to schedule and sit in a campus lab to take one formal assessment during your course of study.

Locating Your Proctor

The MSVCC has an extensive list of centers and campuses that offer your course's proctored exam. To find a site, log into your course and look for the SmarterProctoring button in the left menu. Click here to view a PDF map of MSVCC eLearning Proctor Sites.

Scheduling Process

All proctored exams will be scheduled through the SmarterProctoring link found within your course.

Off-Campus Proctor Request Form

If you are out of state or country, you may find and use a local proctor, pending approval by your institution. Contact your institution to obtain a copy of an off-campus proctor request form.
